- We worked on the safety flyer
- We worked on our Teacher of the Year Award, Business Plan, Team overview, and the Dean’s List Award
- Members from the Robo-Knights came to our shop to use our Lathe to make gearbox shafts and bushing and bearing cups
- We made a CRUSH-bot cookie cutter so one of our parents can make cookies for our Feb 21st Presentation
- We milled and welded the hex pieces
- We designed and machined our battery mount
- We mounted our turret motor, and OUR TURRET SPINS!!!!!!!!
- We tested and then redesigned our drive for the collector motor.
- We figured out how to mount our bumpers and mounted one of them!
- The animators finished the space ship
Main Achievement:We attached almost all of our electronics onto the e-board
Day 34
- We planned for our Feb 21st Presentation
- We CADed the shooter wheel plates
- We made the Hex for our turret
- We made the mount for our motor that drives the turret
- We worked on the gear box for our collectors
- We finished the front of our safety flier
- We attached all of the belts and collectors
- We mounted the elevator and the motor to operate the elevator
- We worked on the Deans List Award
Main Achievement: WE SUBMITTED CHAIRMANS!
Day 34
Day 33
- We received our belts!
- We finished turning the turret drive wheel
- We made the groves in the end caps bigger so we can put the belts on
- We started making our gear box for the collector
- We finished putting the grippy tape on the collectors
- We designed and cut out the hex
Main Achievement: We finished cutting the E-board and then planned and drilled all the holes so we can mount the electronics
Day 32
Day 31
- We finished designing for our turret
- We made mounts for the turret
- We received our sticker paper so we will hopefully get those printed this week
- We bought plastic for our skin, metal for our shooter, and more welding gas
- Programmers collected everything we need for the e-board
- We worked on the Teacher of the Year Award
- We grounded the sub-frame
- We made circles so we can bend the metal for our shooter tomorrow
- We finished the wooden bumper backs for our bumpers
- We cut out the E-board
- We turned down the end caps for the collector
- Animators did animating, and there ship is super awesome
- We were very productive all around and everyone was working hard!
Main Achievement: We welded the tower and mounted the turret
Day 31
Day 30
- We bought Duct Tape, brackets, fabric for bumpers, and grippy tape
- Made slots for our ball collector
- Programmers put tape on the backboards and tested it
- We finished our newsletter and sent it out
- Kelly from Purple Plasma, team 2403, came and collaborated with us
- Nick and Daniel from the NERDS, team 1726, came and collaborated as well:)
- We worked on fixing our lathe
- We worked on the bumpers
Main Achievement: We figured out how we are going to attach the ball elevator to the robot and made the necessary alterations to make it work.
