  • We received our belts!

  • We finished turning the turret drive wheel

  • We made the groves in the end caps bigger so we can put the belts on

  • We started making our gear box for the collector

  • We finished putting the grippy tape on the collectors

  • We designed and cut out the hex

Main Achievement: We finished cutting the E-board and then planned and drilled all the holes so we can mount the electronics

Day 32

  • We went to Tucson High to borrow their bender and bent all of our pieces for our shooter! Thank you Tucson High!

  • We started turning down the turret drive wheel

  • We worked on the bumpers and bought the rest of the material for them.

  • We had a pool noodle fight and one of our mentors even joined in :D

  • We cut out the E-board (Emma board) and it fits on our robot

Main Achievement: Our tower is completely welded

  • We worked on the bumpers
  • We CADed the lexan ball director
  • We planned a lot of the Dell Presentation
  • We made the turret spin!
  • We worked on improving our driver station

Day 28

Day 26

  • Ordered our round belts!
  • Flowing wells visited our shop and we let them use our lathe and mill to make rails for their robot and milling out a pocket for the bearings
  • We worked on re-milling one of our mecanum wheel mount plates
  • We attached the idler wheels
  • We attached two of our mecanum wheels
  • We figured out where the battery will be mounted
  • We have a prototype turret that is almost done and will be finished tomorrow!
  • We picked a motor for our turret

Main Achievement: Our sub frame is complete!
