Day 45
- We welded the additional pieces for the extra bearings
- We finished painting the bumpers
- Programmers finished making the wiring all pretty and ran more testing
- We re-attached the collectors
- We figured out what we want to keep as part of our 30 pounds
- We finished everything for our presentation and pep assemblies tomorrow
- We made sure everything is functioning and is ready to go for our pep assembly and presentations tomorrow. That way we can bag the robot right after.

Duel in the Desert

Day 43
We went to Duel in the Desert and learned the following things:
- Our turret pops off so we need to add more support for that.
- We need a current control for the collector motors and other motors
- We need a better camera mount(do we need a tilt?)
- We need to improve limit switches
Main Achievement: We can shoot baskets from the other side of the field
Day 42
- We finished the Teacher of the Year award and submitted it!
- We packed for Duel in the Desert!
- We finished all the mounts for the bumpers
- We tested the shooter and figured out the angle we want to have it and then welded it
- We covered another bumper in fabric
- We finished our camera mount(?)
- We attached and wired the limit switches
Main Achievement: Our robot can collect, elevate, and shoot balls!
Day 39
- We finished attaching our ball guide rail
- We finished both Deans List essays and will submit those tomorrow
- We updated our media page on the website and worked on the other pages
- We worked on making our gear box for the collectors
- We worked on the shooter rail guide
- We finished our shooter hubs(??)
- Animators worked on the animation
Main Achievement: Programmers finished re-attaching the E-board and planned the wiring for the turret
Day 38
- Programmers re-attached the Emma board with bolts and took off the cRIO to re-mount it
- We worked on our shooter hubs
- We started covering our bumpers and worked on mounting them
Main Achievement: We finished our shooter mount plates and attached them to our turret. It spins beautifully :D
Day 36
- We attached our battery mount
- We wired our e-board
- We re-taped our batteries so the wires were facing the way we wanted
- We started working on CAN for our jaguars
- We put holes in our hex so we can mount it
- We finished our plates for our shooter mount
Main Achievement: WE GOT OUR ROBOT DRIVING!
Day 34
Day 33
- We received our belts!
- We finished turning the turret drive wheel
- We made the groves in the end caps bigger so we can put the belts on
- We started making our gear box for the collector
- We finished putting the grippy tape on the collectors
- We designed and cut out the hex
Main Achievement: We finished cutting the E-board and then planned and drilled all the holes so we can mount the electronics
